So what to do, fit more powerful globes or fit thicker headlight wiring and new relays?

You may think the quickest option to gaining brighter headlights is to fit more powerful globes BUT if your original headlights are not all that bright then the problem is most likely caused by the undersized existing headlight wiring and fitting more powerful globe will probably not only not make your headlights brighter but if your vehicle does not have headlight relays, the higher power required by these new globes will usually mean your headlight switch will burn out and need replacing before to long.

Because the wiring in most vehicles is only just thick enough to run the existing lights supplied with the vehicle, you really need to upgrade the wiring BEFORE you fit higher wattage globes and in most cases, the installation of a our Headlight Wiring Upgrade Kit will make such a big difference to the brightness of existing headlights, this may be all you need to do.

The kits wiring is colour coded and the comprehensive instructions take you through the whole installation, step by step, based on the wire colouring code to make for a simple to follow installation and everything you need for a full professional job is provided in the kits.
